Belief in studying foreign languages

This is a trial translation on my diary in SNS AGORIA. "老師" in Chinese means a teacher in English, but "老" is old and "師" is teacher in Japanese. In my 1st look of "老師," I imagined "an old teacher," as most Japanese imagine. I thought "老"(old) didn't have a positive meaning, but in Chinese, this belief is not correct in general.
Such a similar word confuses me in studying foreign languages, because I have to create a new image of these words in remembering it. Perhaps, it might be easier to study a language, which I cannot imagine anything...

I provide such a little bit confused words:"professor" in English and "professeur(es)" in French. The word "professor" in English means "a teacher in university," as we know. On the other hand, "professeur(es)" in French is a word, which means a teacher in high-school or in university.
As you see, we have to recognize the border between 2 words. Although we need to know belief on each word, we may often suffer in remembering slightly different words... (-_-;)

Input Chinese characters in Windows

We have to prepare a setting in order to input Chinese characters. As I searched it with Google, I could find a webpage like here パソコンで中国語を入力する方法（IMEの設定）. As a trial, I input Chinese character like "你好" ("Hello" in English). This system requires us to input by "pin-in," which is an order of Chinese pronouciation.

Oh, I will have to remember the pronouciations, as I imagined...

searchchina.ne.jp and translation

My friend advised me that we can find some Chinese information from ths site: searchchina.ne.jp . When we study foreign languages, it's very important to know their culture from my experience.
But, I found that this portal site has some non-natural Japanese expressions... I don't indicate what is such a expression, but I rethink that direct translation is not enough to exchange our opinions each other.

Today, I'll study accounting (Direct financing lease) and English and Chinese!

I'm writing a diary for studying Chinese in this blog, and also would like to try "Google blogger" function. Maybe I write in Enlgish like today, and French and Janapese as well.
Please allow me to choose the language to choose. (Just in case, I'm a Japanese man.)

My current target is to be able to read Chinese newspaper, or some other articles or magazines in Chinese. As long as I've heard from my friends, who had studied Chinese, it seems very important to learn pronouciations like "4声" in studying Chinese, even if my primary target is reading Chinese.

I'm not sure the correct proverb in English, but I remembered Japanese proverb:"郷に入っては郷に従え." I'll obey their advice in studying it.

The picture above is my first textbook for learning Chinese. I'll report the comments for using it.
